Had a rough or busy day and need to relax? Have a listen to those songs. They're all slower and have a mellowed out feel. Prepare for relaxation.

01. "The Lucky One" by Alison Krauss & Union Station
You're the lucky one, so I've been told
As free as the wind, blowin' down the road
Loved by many, hated by none
I'd say you were lucky, 'cause I know what you've done
Not a care in the world, not a worry in site

02. "Rain" by Breaking Benjamin
Rain, rain, go away,
Come again another day,
All the world is waiting for the sun.

03. "Be OK" by Ingrid Michaelson
Open me up and you will see
I'm a gallery of broken hearts
I'm beyond repair, let me be
And give me back my broken parts

04. "December Baby" by Ingrid Michaelson
The colored lights, they brightly shine.
Unlike your eyes avoiding mine.
The snow is folding sheet upon sheet.
Our hands not holding as we cross the street.
You have had your fill your fill of me.

05. "Giving Up" by Ingrid Michaelson
Cuz I am giving up on making passes
And I am giving up on half empty glasses
And I am giving up on greener grasses
I am giving up

06. "Keep Breathing" by Ingrid Michaelson

I want to change the world, instead I sleep.
I want to believe in more than you and me.
But all that I know is I'm breathing.
All I can do is keep breathing.
All we can do is keep breathing now.

07. "Morning Lullaby" by Ingrid Michaelson
i will sing you morning lullabies
you are beautiful, and peaceful this way
i know you have to close your eyes on everyone
let me help you, ill sing you to sleep
with morning lullabies

08. "Lucky" by Jason Mraz ft. Colbie Caillet
They don't know how long it takes
Waiting for a love like this
Every time we say goodbye
I wish we had one more kiss
I wait for you I promise you, I will

09. "Details in the Fabric" by Jason Mraz ft. James Morrison
If it's a broken part, replace it
If it's a broken arm, then brace it
If it's a broken heart, then face it
And hold your own, know your name
And go your own way.

10. "You In a Song" by Jason Reeves

i just wanna write you in a song
put your smile on paper so you can sing along
i just wanna bottle the sun
keep your light a secret i can find when you are gone..

11. "Back To Good" by Jonathan Clay
It may take some time before you find you're back to good again
Where you should have been
Even though the letting is part is the hardest part
I think it's time we start

12. "I'd Rather Be With You" by Joshua Radin
I need to bold
Need to jump in the cold water
Need to grow older with a girl like you
Finally see you were naturally
The one to make it so easy when you show me the truth
Yeah, yeah I'd rather be with you

13. "One of Those Days" by Joshua Radin
So I crawl underneath my blanket
Where I can hide away, I know I can't take it
'Cause I see now, it's just one of those days

14. "Sky" by Joshua Radin ft. Ingrid Michaelson
But this is the way I need to wake
I’ll wake to you, and you never left me
All that I dreamt had been untrue
Open my eyes I see sky

15. "After Tonight" by Justin Nozuka
Da-da-da-darling.
Way above the clouds,
And high above the stars,
Through the unknown black holes,
No one knows where we are.
But we'll return to Earth and do it all over again.

16. "Lullaby for a Stormy Night" by Vienna Teng
And someday you'll know
That nature is so
The same rain that draws you near me
Falls on rivers and land
On forests and sand
Makes the beautiful world that you'll see
In the morning

17. "Lake Michigan" by Rogue Wave
Now we wear same colored yellow uniforms
sky is burning
but at least we're warm
go and run yourself a million miles
hoping that the colors run out

18. "Casimir Pulaski Day" by Sufjan Stevens
In the morning when you finally go
And the nurse runs in with her head held low
And the cardinal hits the window
In the morning in the winter shade
On the first of March, on the holiday
I thought that you were breathing

19. "The Ocean" by The Bravery
I carry your image always in my head
Folded and yellowed and torn at the edge
And I've looked upon it for so many years
Slowly I'm losing your face

20. "The District Sleeps Alone Tonight" by The Postal Service
The district sleeps alone tonight
After the bars turn out their lights
And send the autos swerving
Into the loneliest evening
And I am finally seeing
Why I was the one worth leaving

21. "Passenger Seat" by Death Cab for Cutie
I strain my eyes
And try to tell the difference
Between shooting stars and satellites
From the passenger seat as you are driving me home
"Do they collide?"
I ask and you smile
With my feet on the dash
The world doesn't matter

22. "Magic (Piano Version)" by Colbie Caillet
All I see is your face,
all I need is your touch,
Wake me up with your lips,
and come at me from up above

23. "May It Be" by Enya
May it be an evening star
Shines down upon you
May it be when darkness falls
Your heart will be true
You walk a lonely road
Oh! How far you are from home

Originating in Germany, Faderhead's debut album "FH1" has been described as a Sinister Electroclash-Techno-Pop mix with clever lyrics and very catchy melodies. I absolutely love his voice, something about it is so sexy to me. The beats in every song are raw but clean and so powerful. This is definitely the kind of music that makes you wanna move your body all night long in a crowded club. It is recommended if you like Nine Inch Nails, Depeche Mode, and/or Moby.

01. The Protagonist
Roll the camera hit the wedding smile
Take 15 it's gonna take a while
Smoke machines can make it hard to breathe

02. The Beat Has Started
Move your body to the beat, 'cause the beat has started
Let the subs command your soul as you hit the floor
The distortion in your ears makes you stay for more
Cannot leave before the end let the hormones soar

03. Naughty H *Heavy sexual imagery yum*
See your body come alive at my fingertips
Make me lose my sense of time with your dirty lips
Every time I see you move I just gotta play
Gotta play with my naughty H
With my naughty H

04. The Lines
Every picture tells a thousand words (x3)
It's the image inside that hurts
Would you shine into my empty soul (x2)
Don't take what is left and go

05. O/H Scavenger
Going black, freezing air, feel the deep inhale,
Down and in, down about, all you have's for sale

06. Mattaku (ft. Myoonji Sadamune)
This song has harsh, strong Japanese male vocals.

07. Vanish
I wish I was a star
Have yet to go that far
Gotta pray another light will disappear
and vanish from this world
Don't you know that everything that's real is here
And yes I'm sure it hurts

08. Melt Into Your Eyes
If I need to lose control
I know that you will hold my soul
And deep inside I feel this glow
You and me will make us whole

09. Hey Girl
Postin' pics,
'cause you're hip,
Kinda beauty queen,
We load the page,
Wait for praise,
Fabricated dreams

10. Burning / Dancing *This one has a hidden track.*
Noise insane makes you move untamed,
Loads of bass rumbling in your brain, yeah,
This is where the last control is lost,
Degeneration all the same, but you'll never fall,
Broken sound lets you scream out loud,
When the overdrive beat is the all-around

The wall are burning, the people are dancing

I suddenly realized that I am the only mod NOT to have posted any music in this community. That ends today.

I'm posting some of my favorite songs from my favorite bands/musicians, in hopes that you will uncover the same appreciation that I hold for them.

"Surf City Eastern Bloc" by Arcade Fire - A new release, I think? Regardless, it's a very good listen.

"Boy on the Moon" by The Daylights - Very mellow, but so so satisfying. I wish they'd release more albums.

"Near Fantastica" by Matthew Good - This song seriously never gets old. Never. I could listen to it for the rest of my life and never get bored. It's that good.

"Ride" by Cary Brothers - Don't be surprised if this quickly makes your "Top 25 Most Played" playlist on your itunes. It's currently holding my #2 position.

"Revolution Solution" by Thievery Corporation - This group never ceases to amaze me. Very catchy song, likely to get in your head very often.

Comment and enjoy... I'd like to hear your feedback! :]

Sorry I haven't updated in a while! Enjoy! Comment if you take any, especially after you've given them a listen, and tell me if you like the songs or not.

"Mushaboom" by Feist || Lyrics
----> My fave Feist song. It's calming, and reminds me for some reason of big sun hats, tiny towns, and sunny days.

"1234" by Feist || Lyrics
----> I love to sing along to this song. It just.. makes me feel good. XD

"My Moon, My Man" by Feist || Lyrics
----> Calming as usual. She almost sounds erotic in this song, and it really shows the smoother side of her voice.

I really enjoy Feist because her music is very unique, original, and somewhat old fashioned. I think she's really effective at capturing the innocence of all the things she sings about. Oh, and did I mention she has a lovely voice?

"Bubble Pop Electric" by Gwen Stefani || Lyrics
----> This song is silly.. but it gets stuck in my head all the time.. and I LOVE IT! It reminds me of the 50's.. talking about sweaters and drive-in movie theaters!

"Daughter In The House of Fools" by Enon
----> This song is in the "Indie" genre. Sang solely by the female member of the group, her voice is also unique. The beat, tune, and pace of the song in general just makes me wanna sing!

NEXT TIME =====> RELIENT K, RAMMSTEIN, EMERY, JUANES, AND SOME SAVAGE GARDEN.

Well, I'm new here, and I thought I'd give a shot to some MP3 ROTATION. I hear it's all the rage with the kids. These are songs I already had uploaded, so...

It's No Game, Pt. 1 - David Bowie: Not my favorite Bowie song, but very enjoyable (especially the lyrics). Bowie performs with a Japanese girl on this, and both of their vocals are very frantic, very human, which makes a nice contrast to the de-humanized synth.

The Trial - Pink Floyd: One of my top three absolute favorite songs. Even if you've heard Pink Floyd on the radio and don't like them, I still highly recomend this song, as it isn't something you'd find on the radio. This isn't even a rock song, as guitars are absent from almost the entire song; it's pure Broadway grandeur, featuring a full orchestra. It features AMAZING vocal work from Roger Waters, the bassist and one of the vocalists for Pink Floyd. Seriously, I can't recomend this song enough.

Advent One Winged Angel - Nobuo Uematsu: Another of my three favorite songs. Although Nobuo Uematsu isn't the performer, he's the composer, and the closest thing I could put down. This is from the "Final Fantasy VII Advent Children" soundtrack. It starts out as a full orchestra, but before long, a metal band kicks in, and the orchestra and band play together. The vocal work is done by a Latin choir, and is beautiful, especially near the end, where the singers abruptly and repeatedly switch from the male members to the female members.

5:01 AM (The Pros and Cons of Hitch Hiking, Pt. 10) - Roger Waters: A solo piece from the Pink Floyd bassist. This is VERY different from "The Trial", and most of Pink Floyd's other work as well. It's very catchy, and the lyrics make no sense outside the context of the album. However, I really enjoy it, and if you feel a bit daring, I suggest you check it out.

Welcome to me_gusta_mp3! Here's the first post! I hope you guys like the layout... it's extra bright! ♥ I thought about uploading songs to post on my journal everyday, but then I figured I'd make this community so I could share songs with everyone. allie_chan and sorrosa are also helping me with this noble effort and will be bringing their own music tastes to the table. I hope you all enjoy!

"Your Ex-Lover is Dead" by Stars - Lyrics
** Although the song is soft and mellow, incorporating lots of different instruments, the lyrics make it very powerful.
